Support Jamaica

One of our close communities has been devastated by Hurricane Melissa, the Category 5 Hurricane that recently struck Jamaica. Buildings, vegetation, the land, and roadway have all been destroyed.

- The Community -

This powerful Rastafari Village - in the hills just outside of Montego Bay, rooted in the Nyabinghi Culture - is not only a residential community, but a community dedicated to generational growth.  Before Hurricane Melissa, this village was a space for teaching traditional forms of arts to the community, in efforts to preserve the culture of Jamaica. From music creation, to clothing design, agriculture, and group economics, the village not only preserved culture, breathed life into the community.

By donating to the village, you will help with the following:

-Debris Removal

-Rebuilding Structures

-Recreating the Roadway

-Rebuilding & Replenishing the Garden

-Replacing Items

-Toiletries for Residents

-Tools, Equipment, & Manpower

Our Story

Oracle Oya is an officially registered Aboriginal Ministry, with the Aboriginal Republic of North America (ARNA), and Federally recognized as such by the Federal Government.

Since 2018, the Oracle Oya Ministry has supported self-lead missions, as well as other mission-based organizations across the Americas and Caribbean. Our work includes using personal and networked-pooled money, goods, materials, and time to provide basic needs, environmental support, community support, clothing, and social support to aboriginal, indigenous, and underserved communities in the Americas and Caribbean.

We are currently seeking donations to support one of our close communities in Jamaica. Hear their story, see the results of the disaster, and donate.

Additionally, a portion of all OracleOya.com sales will be used to support our missionary work with hands-on/boots on the ground visits to Jamaica to support the current goal of rebuilding the village.
